Public-private partnerships (PPPs) and other project-financed transactions have increased significantly in recent years, as has the private sector involved in major infrastructure projects.
PPPs present unique challenges as risks need to be shared and balanced between the public and private sectors; Funding based on the expected revenue streams of the project; and the various private sector interests involved.
All of this results in PPP structures that are complex to negotiate, configure and operate. Our client base in the PPP and project finance sectors includes sponsors, lenders and contractors.
